I feel like this prompt has been done in the past but hey, I’ll do it again, NBD.
1. What is the name of your blog?
Undecided Answer, for my indecisiveness. I don’t have a concrete answer as to what this blog would be called so Undecided Answer it is.
2. What do you love most about blogging?
Connecting with other people, but most of all going back and remembering what I did on a certain day and seeing the pictures from it.
3. Why did you start blogging?
Because all the cool kids had LiveJournal and then therapeutic reasons after giving up self-harm. I didn’t update extensively until 2006 when I got my internet connection to a clunky desktop in my old bedroom’s closet. [Before that, It was only when I could get into the library at school or the real library down the street from me.] I didn’t give blogging srs bsns until March of 2008 so I consider March 16th my blog’s “birthdate”. March 16th, 2014 will be 12 years I’ve been at this. I feel “old” blog-wise sometimes when people are just celebrating 1 year or six months.
I remember the days of GreyMatter and CuteNews being blogging platforms. [Before WordPress and Blogger were a thing.]
4. What is something you’d want to tell someone just starting out in the blog world?
Blog for yourself, not an audience. Don’t do something “the cool kids” are all doing [like paid sponsorships.] just to be noticed because you ultimately won’t and you’ll get burnt out and want to shut down your blog.
[Talking from experience here.]
Just do for you, and if you only get one reader and zero comments on your posts, [Um, Hi.] THAT’S TOTALLY OKAY. That’s nothing to stress over. So as long as you’re having fun doing it.
[And I’m having a fuckin’ blast!]
5. Biggest blogging learning experience you’ve had?
I think I mostly covered that in brackets in #4. Don’t stress over numbers and don’t do paid sponsorships right off the bat [or even at all, they’re really not required..] because you will FAIL and get burnt out over it because your blog ultimately shifts to being about pimping your sponsors and not about you because your sponsors are expecting you to get them noticed. If you don’t, they’re not getting their money’s worth and they will poot all over you.
6. What are three blogs you love?
Three? Only three? *pfffffft*

Angie @ Lariats and Lavender
nikkiana @ Authentic Experience
Mia @ Mia Moore
