NaBloPoMo – Day 13

How much of the day are you plugged in? Do you consciously set aside offline time, or does it happen whenever it happens?

I’m “plugged in” the majority of the day, but lately I’ve been doing things in bulk and then that allows me to go attend to offline things. I’ve also been jumping at the chance to get offline and out in the world even if it’s a drive down to the corner for a quick stop to pick things up. I can then say HEY! I got outside today! I DID SOMETHING OTHER THAN ROT IN FRONT OF THE COMPUTER!!

It feels kind of nice to unplug once in a while. The computer will still be there, I don’t have a job that depends on it and if people really need to get in touch with me, I have a telephone.

  1. I agree with you, it definitely does feel nice to be “unplugged” sometimes! 🙂
