[Review] Spring Fling 2014 VoxBox #SpringVoxBox

I’m fashionably late to the blogging party on this box, but better late than never right?

I don’t know if I mentioned this in the previous box’s post, but I am absolutely in love with the new boxes Influenster is using. When the program was first starting out, the boxes were plain white and now they’re all colorful and printed with Influenster’s logo.

Whoop! My Influenster 2014 #SpringVoxBox is here. :33

The 2014 Spring Fling box is a light blue-greenish box and is very easy on the eyes. Not quite sure why my camera made the logos and such with a pinkish hue, but in person that’s white.

Contents of the #springvoxbox. Highly doubt I'll use the makeup or manicure but the rest? Definitely. PIE AIR FRESHENER.

Influenster Spring Fling 2014 VoxBox contents:

1. Rimmel London ScandalEyes Retro Glam Mascara [$5.99]

GET THE LONDON LOOK. [I’m always seeing this dang commercial on TV.]

My face has never touched makeup outside of cosplay, so I passed this off to my friend M who said he’d take it off my hands.

2. Kiss Everlasting French Nails [$6.49]

I don’t do press-on nails, either. Never, ever, never subjecting my nails to this garbage.

3. Peach Pie Car Freshener [Labor Day Movie]

I don’t have a car. but I DO have a room that I hung this in. I’ve never had peach pie before, but I DO like peaches so this smelled absolutely awesome. It was not overpowering at all [and if you know me, I have a very sensitive nose.] I haven’t watched the movie that this car freshener is promoting yet, but I think I should because Kate Winslet is hot hot tater tot.

4. Playtex Sport Fresh Balance Tampons [$3.99 – $4.99]

OH BOY! FREE TAMPONS! I actually had to wait until my next cycle to test these out because the box arrived while I was off. My current brand of choice is Tampax Pearl, and after testing the Playtex Sport ones, I don’t think I’ll be switching any time soon. These tampons promise “sport grade” protection, but I WAS HORRIBLY DISAPPOINTED! I’m not sure how a person with a vagina in sport would get protection from these. I changed the tampon within the 4-8 hour window, and I STILL leaked everywhere the first two days of my period. Luckily I had a box of pads around to “double armor”. I wasn’t fussy about the other features of the tampon such as the “odor shield” and the light fragrance. It’s your vagina…It’s supposed to smell musky not a frickin’ mango.

5. NIVEA Skin Firming Hydration Lotion [$2.49 for 2.5oz / $10.99 for 13.5oz]

I was pretty worried about this one. I have VERY finicky skin and a lot of lotions just give me lobster rashes. Luckily this did not give me a rash but I did not see any changes in my skin the 2 weeks of use. I totally debunked your firmer, toned skin in 2 weeks claim.

I’m just going to be outright honest here and say I was kind of MEH MEH MEH! with my box this time around, but you can’t like them all, right?

I received these products complimentary from Influenster for testing purposes.
