JORDANDENÉ is owned and operated by Jordan Ellis. The shop specializes in geeky goodness in the form of apparel, aprons and accessories. Jordan covers a variety of fandoms such as Sherlock, Game of Thrones and even has a dash of Harry Potter and Doctor Who! Jordan’s business is located in Brooklyn, New York.

The JORDANDENÉ  website itself is easy and user-friendly to get around, my only gripe [and I’m not sure if it’s because I’m using Chrome…] is that when you have things in your cart, it covers up the navigation on the top right and you cannot move it out the way.

She recently reached out to the Female Geek Bloggers G+ group for some reviews and/or giveaways and I decided to throw my interest in the ring! Jordan was professional and quick in our email exchange.

I asked for the “Not all who wander are lost” tank and the 221B boyshorts. Both items are American  Apparel items screen printed with water-based inks. All items include size charts and it is recommended to order one size up because the items tend to run small. Machine wash in cold water and toss in the dryer on low. I do not put any of my shirts in the dryer and prefer to hang them up to dry to prevent shrinkage of the garment or any damage to the printing.

Jordan packed up everything neatly and shipped it on the 23rd and I received it the next day. I have personal experience with shipping to and from New York so it doesn’t take all that long. ;P

There was a few extras included in the package which were a “Hello Sweetie” postcard [which is from Doctor Who, I think?] and an insert to post your goods on Instagram which I had done. 😀 I think my favorite thing out of the extras was the business card, not only is it another one for my collection, it is now the most different one I’ve come across. It’s a screen printed business card on a bit of fabric. I thought that was pretty darn cool!

I ordered the tank in Small and it was a bit baggy which was OK with me since I don’t really like wearing things that are clingy to my form. It drives me absolutely insane. So if you like things to be a bit snug to your body, you MIGHT want to order a size down. I initially was going to order a Medium but then realized that they are unisex tanks and Medium would’ve been WAY too big.

Here’s the selfie that’s on Instagram in its un-squared glory. TERRIBLE FACETIME CAMERA FOR THE LOSE.

The undies I got in a Medium and they fit perfectly. I normally wear a 6 in undies and the undies on JORDANDENÉ  range 4-6 so I was cutting it a bit close. There was no problems with the crotch liner and it was stitched to where it was supposed to be. I’ve had problems with crotch liners being weird in the past.

Overall I am very pleased with my purchase and give JORDANDENÉ a very enthusiastic 5 out of 5 paws up!
