Bloggers, Unplugged

Sometimes, we all need a break from these little glowing boxes. How do you know when it’s time to unplug? What do you do to make it happen?

Earlier this week I actually “unplugged” for a day or two willingly because I fell ill with a cold passed on to me by my 3yo niece. it’s honestly not that hard now after forcibly being unplugged for almost two weeks by Hurricane Sandy. I don’t miss much and I certainly do not miss any of the family drama happening on Facebook.

Pre-Hurricane Sandy I would be like, “DEAR GOD, MY LIFE IS IN CHAOS BECAUSE I MISSED SO MUCH!!!

Post-Hurricane Sandy: “oh well!! if it’s that important, somebody can pick up the goddamn phone and call me.”

i do like to check in once in a while to say “Hey, still alive and kicking, until next time!”
