[Kitty Plays] Life is Strange – Episode 1

i’m definitely late to the Life is Strange party, but i’m also probably a smart one because i:

a) waited until all the episodes were released

b) waited until the whole shebang was on sale [thanks Steam Lunar Sale!]

but anyway, HOLY HELL IS THIS GAME GOOD.

what is Life is Strange, you say?

Life Is Strange is an episodicgraphic adventure video game developed by Dontnod Entertainment and published by Square Enix. It is available for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One, and consists of five episodes released periodically throughout 2015.

The game’s plot focuses on Maxine Caulfield, a photography student who discovers that she has the ability to rewind time at any moment, leading her every choice to enact the butterfly effect. After having foreseen an approaching storm, Max must take on the responsibility to prevent it from destroying her town. The player’s actions will adjust the narrative as it unfolds, and reshape it once allowed to travel back in time. Fetch quests and making environmental changes represent the forms of puzzle solving in addition to using branching choices for conversation.

it’s also GAY. AS. HELL.

which is one of the main reasons why i wanted to play it. once you go Pricefield you never come back. game is definitely well worth the $12 i paid for it not to mention it is full-supportive of a controller. WIN WIN.

if you’re affected by ANY of the events in Life is Strange please go here: http://lifeisstrange.com/talk/

you are not alone and i want you know i got your back. i actually had to stop playing a few times to remind myself that while these are things that can happen in real life and that i have personal experience with some of them, THESE particular events are not real. they are purely fictional. still does not fuck you up any less.

you matter and i care.
