I’m Kitty, I’m in my twenties, but am often mistaken for a younger age. (But hey, it gives an advantage to free/cheap things so I can’t complain much.) I am a agender greyasexual, and sometimes too gay to function.
I have a wonderful fiance named Rin, who lives in the Big Apple. (and I’m jealous, because my heart ACHES for big city livin’ for some reason despite living in the ‘burbs for so long.)
Rin and I met at AnimeNEXT in June of 2011, I became his girlfriend exactly a year later on June 11th, 2012.
We are long-distance, but not by much! An hour and change by car, or 4 hours each way by train.
I used to be a contributing part of society for four years before my cerebral palsy, autism, and anxiety caught up to me and I was released from my job in February 2010. I fell into a depression and felt as if I wasn’t good enough for anything. In March 2011, I bit the bullet and decided to apply for disability. You can follow that saga here. On April 22nd, 2015, I revived my Fully Favorable letter. I have updated with a Disability Case Journey page, that has a timeline from start to finish.
In my teen years, I was plagued by anorexia and self-harming behaviors. I’ve since fought, and won the self-harm battle and of course did not win without scars. The scars are a reminder of a time that I was weak, but I survived. My anorexia is still ongoing, because it’s something that truly doesn’t “just go away”, even with professional support.
I have many hobbies:
- Tea Drinking
- Gaming (Console, Handheld & PC)
- TV/Movie Watching
- Sleeping (Yes, sleeping is a hobby because I said so.)
- Sharing the boring and not so boring parts of my life here on the blog
I blog solely for the reason because of my bad memory, and because in high school it became a therapeutic practice after I’ve stopped self-harming. Some things, however are meant to be private.
Needless to say I’ve been at this blogging thing for almost ten years and I’ve enjoyed the ride thus far.
